Scott Grummon is a corporate and regulatory attorney with over 20 years of experience in investment advisor, general corporate, and securities law.

Scott spent the majority of his career at Point72 Asset Management, L.P. (f/k/a S.A.C. Capital Advisors, L.P.), most recently serving as Managing Director, Counsel, where he was responsible for a broad range of legal matters, including foreign and domestic regulatory matters, general corporate matters and securities matters. Before joining Point72/SAC, Scott was Senior Director – Legal Affairs at Golden Books Family Entertainment, Inc., where he handled a broad range of legal issues associated with a publicly traded holding company and its operating subsidiaries. He began is legal career as a corporate associate at Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP.

Scott received his J.D. (magna cum laude) from New York Law School, where he was an articles editor of the Law Review. Before law school, he attended George Mason University, graduating with a Masters of Science degree in Conflict Analysis and Resolution and a Bachelor of Science in International Relations.
