Suzie Scanlon Rabinowitz | Managing Partner, Suzie Scanlon Rabinowitz is active in the pursuit of practicing law differently and has been working as a pioneer in the virtual law firm space for more than a decade and is an advocate for legal industry change. She literally wrote the book on new legal models – Suzie is co-author of Finding Bliss: Innovative Legal Models for Happy Clients & Happy Lawyers, a book focused on the future of the legal profession that is among the best-selling American Bar Association Flagship series book for 2015. She is a proponent of alternative legal fees and developing innovative legal solutions.

Suzie practices in the fields of commercial transactions, licensing in the technology industry and marketing material review for alternative investments. She specializes in legal process management and high volume work flows for financial services companies. Suzie is also a Co-Founder and Managing Director of Bliss Lawyers, a firm that employs high caliber lawyers to work in "secondments" where the lawyers work on an engagement basis for in-house legal department and law firm clients. Suzie has also been Senior Counsel to the virtual law firm Berger Legal LLC. Prior to joining the virtual law firm world she worked as a traditional lawyer at the law firms Sullivan & Cromwell and Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz. She also worked at the National Association of Securities Dealers (predecessor to FINRA) and in the New York State Executive Chamber of Governor Mario M. Cuomo as a Press Aide. Suzie earned her law degree in 1995 from Fordham Law School where she served as the Annual Survey Editor of the Fordham Law Review and was the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award for Torts and Criminal Law. She received her B.A. in medieval studies from Sarah Lawrence College in 1992 with honors. Suzie is also a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program which is a scholarship based entrepreneurship program for business owners. She currently serves as Vice Chair of the LaGuardia Community College Foundation, a Trustee of NJ LEEP and a Trustee of Brewster Academy. Suzie is also the founding board Chairperson of the Danbury Hospital Associate Board and has served as Board President of Maimonides Academy of Western Connecticut, Vice President of the Board of Directors of The Ridgefield Playhouse, Executive Vice President of the Board of Trustees of Temple Shearith Israel and Co-Chair of the Windward School Annual Fund.
