Prior to joining SRD Legal, Bea was Vice President, Chief Media Counsel and Associate General Counsel at Thomson Reuters, where she worked for over 20 years. She served as primary commercial counsel to Thomson Reuters’ media businesses, including sitting on the management team of Reuters Media, the world’s largest news agency. In that role, she negotiated with major news networks, Internet platforms, news organizations and technology companies. She was also responsible for creating multiple standard agreements used globally for both incoming and outgoing licenses and advised on legal matters relating to the Reuters news platforms.

Bea currently serves as a board member and General Counsel to the Manhasset Women’s Coalition Against Breast Cancer.

Prior to Thomson Reuters, Bea was an associate at the law firm Patterson, Belknap, Webb & Tyler. Bea received her J.D. from NYU School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Michigan
