Effie Papadopoulos practices corporate law, with a focus on reviewing and negotiating confidentiality agreements. Effie has a broad professional background, including mergers and acquisitions, trusts and estates, and banking law. Prior to joining SRD, Effie worked with LexisNexis compiling and drafting the guidelines on anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing for the Hong Kong financial markets. Prior to this, Effie worked in Legal & Compliance at Credit Suisse Hong Kong, primarily focused on mergers and acquisitions and capital markets work. She has also lectured in Commercial Law and Practice within the PCLL program at the University of Hong Kong.

Effie received her B.A. from Fordham University, where she majored in History and was certified in Peace and Justice Studies. She earned her J.D. from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School. She received her L.L.M. from the University of Hong Kong with a concentration in International Banking Law and Financial Regulation.
