Susan’s career began at White & Case in the New York and Mexico offices, where her practice included U.S. securities transactions and regulations as applied to banks and corporations. Work also included purchase/sales agreements, corporate restructurings, banking and credit transactions, securitizations, derivatives, mergers & acquisitions, venture capital investments and equipment and project finance.

Susan earned her law degree in 1993 from Columbia University with a focus on banking, capital markets, derivatives and tax laws where she was an Olin Law and Economics Junior Fellow 1992-’93; Foreign Language & Area Studies (FLAS) Fellow 1992-’93; Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar; and an editor on the Columbia Journal of Transnational Law. She received her B.A. in Economics from University of Michigan in Ann Arbor in 1990.
