Puruda Kothari is an Austin based attorney currently handing data privacy matters for SRD’s clients. After completing law school, she started her professional journey as an outside contractor for YouTube in its copyright compliance area, which eventually led her to working as a Senior Associate in Twitter’s legal team in their San Francisco office, handling legal policy making within its trademark and copyright law space, as well as exploring Twitter’s data privacy space. A strong supporter of various social causes, when Puruda is not working, she is devoting her time towards volunteering as a legal liaison for IDIAUSA, a non-profit group of over 3000 Indian women in Austin, TX, where she listens to their concerns and helps them seek the right kind of support they need through her network.
