Rachel Bauer
Rachel Bauer is of counsel to the firm and practices corporate law, with a primary focus on reviewing and negotiating confidentiality agreements. Earlier in her career Rachel was a trial attorney working as a Guardian ad Litem for children as well as handling matters related to Family Law and Criminal Law in the Commonwealth of Virginia. She transitioned to a focus on Estate Planning before joining the team at SRD.
From February 2013 until February 2021, Rachel served as a Judge Advocate in the Army Reserve Judge Advocate General Corps, finishing her service as a Captain assigned to Trial Defense Services. Her experiences as a JAG officer provided her an opportunity to serve the United State of America and further expand her legal abilities.
She is a 2005 graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where she majored in Criminal Justice and went on to graduate in the top third of her class from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2010.
Rachel is a member of the Military Spouse Juris Doctorate Network.
